Barrafest 2010 - Isle of Barra

"30th & 31st July 2010"

This annual festival is run by Fèis Bharraigh, a well known and established traditional music tuition group on the island.

This unmissable event takes place in a marquee on Tangasdale Machair overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The band line up features a celebration of modern traditional music with some fresh new sounds.

any chance of the vatersay boys playin on the friday as well. i see they played both nights last year. bringing my 10 year old up to see them. everything booked but they are playin saturday which is 18 and over Admin: I am not sure why they are not playing both nights this year, but if you are up over the festival i am sure your son will get to see them play at some point. Enjoy!
